South Australia desperately needs a political force that stands up to the powerful, and stands with the people who are fighting back. In the last year, rents and house prices in Adelaide both surpassed those in Melbourne for the first time on record. Adelaide is now one of the most unaffordable cities in the world. The ambulance ramping crisis in hospitals continues. More than three years into the Malinauskas Labor government and the hours lost to ramping remain shockingly high, despite making fixing the crisis a key election promise. With a state election next year we need an alternative for people who are sick of Labor and disgusted by the Liberals. So we’re taking inspiration from the Victorian Socialists and building a political force in this state that puts people before profit and fights for the rights of workers and the oppressed.
